Ivan: Not the Fool

Ivan: Not the Fool is a five-card video poker game with a medieval theme and 20 paylines. The title uses standard draw poker rules: players receive five cards, choose which to discard, and then draw replacements to form the final hand. Payouts are based on poker rankings, from one pair of jacks or better through to royal flush.

The game includes two special features. Ivan Bonus applies a 2x multiplier when exactly three cards are discarded and the new hand contains an Ace, King, Queen, Jack or Ten in any order. Fool’s Gambit is triggered by discarding all five cards and can upgrade the result if the random fool card matches a card from the original hand. A progressive jackpot also forms from a share of each bet and resets on a royal flush.

The demo version lets players play for free and practice before playing for real money. Betting ranges from 0.01 to 10 credits per round, with a multi-bet option for up to five hands. The game was released in 2023 by ReelNRG and uses parchment-style visuals with lute music and card shuffle effects.
