Hook the Cash

Hook the Cash is a five-reel, 30-payline slot game by Platipus, released on 5 December 2024. Set around coins and pirates, it includes Wild, Scatter and Bonus symbols, plus free spins, multipliers and a jackpot feature. The game is classed as a medium-volatility slot with a bet range from 0.3 to 30.

The free spins feature is triggered by 5 or more Scatter symbols and awards a number of spins equal to the Scatters landed. During this round, the fifth reel is filled with stacked Wilds, and any winning line with at least one Wild pays double. In the demo version, players can explore this structure and practice before playing for real money.

The Hook the Coin feature starts when 5 or more Bonus symbols appear and awards the prizes shown on them, including cash values or one of four jackpots. Three Golden rings are added for six extra spins, then move position with each spin; landing a ring on a Bonus symbol reveals its prize. A Jolly Roger symbol adds an extra spin and another ring, with both bonus features able to trigger in the same spin.
