Gemix

Gemix by Play'n GO is a cascading video slot on a 7x7 grid, released in 2014. Wins are formed by connected clusters of five or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically. After each win, the symbols are removed and new ones drop into place, allowing cascades to continue within the same round. Players can use the demo version to play for free and practice before playing for real money.

The game includes a crystal charge meter that builds with every win. When full, it can trigger one of four effects: Chain Lightning, Light Beam, Crystal Warp or Nova Blast. These features change symbols on the grid, remove sections of the board or create new matching groups. Gemix also has a Super Charge state, where additional wins can multiply the round's results by three, but only once per game round.

Progress is tied to worlds and patterns, with three patterns to clear in each world before moving on to the next and unlocking a World Bonus. Different worlds bring different wild symbols: Miner's world uses dropping wilds, Princess's world spreads a wild from an edge position, and Wizard's world can create sticky wilds that remain on the grid for a round or until Crystal Charge is activated.
